Members of the elite DEA task force thought they were invincible. But they were wrong.
Arnold is back in Sabotage, a dark, violent crime, revenge action film. Based on Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then there Were None’, Arnie plays John Wharton a.k.a. “Breacher”, the head of an elite DEA task force taking out drug cartels in the city of Atlanta. The mission of this task force is to bust durg cartels and ticking people off. Other members of his team are played by Sam Worthington, Mireille Enos and Terrence Howard.
After a big drug bust, the mission in a cartel safe house leads to ten million dollars of the drug money in cash goes missing, members of the elite DEA task force find themselves being taken down one by one after they rob a drug cartel safe house. But someone has outwit them and the haul of ten million dollars is missing.
The task force faces disgrace and disbandment. Doubts on who could have taken it still fresh, one by one the team members are killed mysteriously. The team members are mysteriously eliminated one by one.
The first guy is locked in his trailer van and he wakes up just at the time he realises that his van is towed away and now stationed on the tracks where a train passes, blowing off the van. The next DEA task force member is found nailed to the ceiling. The game has begun and it is a suspense which unfolds towards the end.
In the meantime, Breacher is permitted to re-build his team. He lends support to the Detective for clues to the killer’s identities.
Merille Enos plays a crazy, bad ass woman firing guns with greater ease than some of the men in her team. Olivia Williams plays the Investigator Caroline Brentwood who isn’t appreciated by the task force members as they are not-so-keen to co-operate with her in the case.
Sabotage is full of violence which is distinctively graphic, yet somewhere in the mid-way it lacks logic and becomes a prey to a flat script. The film has graphic violence, cursing and raw action.
